North Grove: $6000 to the Community Meal Program that provides more than 1400 nutritious drop-in meals each month.
Shelter Nova Scotia: $10,000 for the Meals that Matter Food Security Initiative that provides grocery gift cards and nutritious bulk food to 300 adults experiencing homelessness.
NPF Community Organization Society: $5000 for their Youth Poverty Intervention & Community Stabilization Program to purchase winter clothing, emergency food, hygiene supplies and stabilization kits.
Phoenix Youth: $5000 for their Residential Housing Program to provide nutritious meals at its weekly sessions for youth.
Spencer House Seniors Centre: $5000 for their Today Cafe and Social Market programs that provide hot lunches for 30-60 seniors per day, many of whom stay to access the centre's afternoon programs.
Halifax Humanities Society: $1500 to purchase nutritious snacks for the HH101 class and Alumni Seminar.

Children's Aid Foundation of Nova Scotia: $10,000 to the foundation's Emergency Single Family Assistance Program that provides timely financial support to families in crisis and facing extreme poverty.
Hope Blooms: $5000 for the organization's Cultural Community Food Market Program to support low-income single mothers in Uniacke Square by providing fresh produce and nutritious meals.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax: $2500 for the organization's Youth Activity Program to ease access to sport and activities for the most vulnerable children in our community.
